Man, that was rough.
I mentioned before about watching The Passion of the Christ, and finally did so.
I don't think I have wept as much as I had watching through the movie.
It is visceral. There is nothing to sugar-coat here, it is as bloody as it can get to being realistic without venturing into meaningless and gratuitous violence.
In comparison, I think Junji Itō's works suddenly seem like Sesame Street in comparison.
I think that's all I have for today. I'm gonna need to take a moment here.
